Process modeling
Comidor BPM engine can execute any process based on any modelling notation:
- BPMN 2.0 standard (Business Process Modeling Notation)
- CMMN notation (Case Management Modeling Notation)
- Gantt Chart (Project Management scheduling graph)
- Any combination of the above
BPMN is suitable for well-defined and structured business processes with the predictable flow and is ideal for automation, while CMMN notation is suitable for more dynamic processes with a less predictable flow. Project-based processes may be scheduled and be controlled by Gantt Chart modeling.
Comidor BPM engine provides a mechanism to integrate models with different notation into one single process by splitting the overall process into sub-processes, each with its own notation.
